Dimsums are culinary wonders from the East. Having originated in China, they have traced their way to posh restaurant menus all over the world. JW Marriott Kolkata is celebrating a 10 day long ‘Dimsum Festival’ starting from 8th March till 17th March 2019 at their Asian restaurant, Vintage Asia.
The festival will highlight some of the most innovative dumplings specially curated with panache by their in house Chef Alexsander Cheng, Oriental Specialty Chef, Vintage Asia. Chef has experimented with various exotic ingredients and have put together a range of dim sums like ‘Crispy Bean Curd Skin Roll Filled With Shrimp‘, ‘Steam Chicken Glutinous Rice‘, ‘Pak Choy Prawn With Black Pepper Sauce‘, ‘Golden Puff‘, ‘King Mushroom Bun‘, ‘Pak Choy Prawn With Black Pepper Sauce‘ ‘Water-Chestnut Spinach Dumpling‘, ‘Pan-Seared Turnip Cake With Chilli And Garlic Flakes‘, and lots more.
One can end their meal on a sweet note by trying lip smacking desserts like ‘Chilled Mango Puree and Water Chestnut‘ and ‘Refreshing Double-Boiled Pear With Longan Goji-Berry‘ or indulge into scrumptious sweet buns like ‘Custard Bun‘, ‘Chocolate Bun‘ and ‘Read Bean Filling Bun‘.
