The trailer and music launch of the upcoming Bengali film Khelaghar Bandhte Legechi was graced by the cast and crew of the film.

As reality fades, a child starts to find solace in their imagination. When a child finds himself without his biological parents, he attempts to create an imaginary buddy. Khelaghar also presents an accurate picture of it.

The plot revolves around four main characters: 70-year-old Prabodh, his son Amitava and daughter-in-law Hem, and Amitava’s two kids, 12-year-old Megh and 8-year-old Bidyut. The creator of Khirodasundari candies, Prabodhchandra, has retired from his position. His persona demonstrates a strong work ethic and a history of success. His accounts of his history are filled with both affection and alienation from it. Although he desires that his son and his son’s wife give his grandchildren quality time, they both seem unconcerned about it. At times, Prabodh observes the pitiful state of affairs in his home and believes himself to be the primary perpetrator. What happens next?

The first children’s AI-related movie in Kolkata is Khelaghar Bandhte Legechi. The movie portrays the impact of contemporary technologies on the younger generation while also bringing back the glory of the grandparents’ bygone age in Bengal. Village politics, the village theatres (Jatra), unrequited love, and sheer nostalgia are all part of the film.
