Director Arjunn Dutta’s film Abyakto has been getting great responses at the different film festivals. A press meet was organized to launch the trailer and the music of the film.

Present at the event was the director, Arpita Chatterjee, Anubhav Kanjilal, music director Soumya Rit and others.

Abyakto is a poignant tale of a mother and a son. The film travels through time lapses and captures the turmoil that the characters in the film go through.

The cast of the film consists of Arpita Chatterjee, Adil Hussain, Anubhav Kanjilal, Samontak Dyuti Maitra, Anirban Ghosh, Lily Chakraborty, Debjani Chatterjee and others.

Speaking at the event, Anubhav Kanjilal said “I am very excited that the film will be finally releasing in the theatres in Kolkata. The film has been getting awesome response wherever it has been screened. Now finally the audience will see Abyakto in Kolkata. I hope it gets an awesome response”.

There are two songs in the film. One is a Raag based track (Raag Miyamallar) and the other is a Tagore song Kadale Tumi More (Jayati Chakraborty).

The music director praised Arjunn and said that he was a sensible director musically. “The songs have been made sensibly so that the people can relate it with the story of the film. The film has been receiving good appreciation from the people because the story is simple and very relatable” said Soumya Rit.

Arpita Chatterjee who will be seen in the role of the mother highlighted on the fact that she had to portray two age of the same woman in the film which was challenging for her. She has not done anything like this before. However the actress enjoyed working with Arjunn.

The director on the other hand after receiving so much appreciation at the different film festivals was hoping that the audiences will also like the film and make it a box office hit film.

The film is eyeing for release on 31^st January.
