This week, there will be lots of drama unfolding on Star Jalsha’s serial Desher Maati. Desher Maati will take a new turn as Noah decides to unite Dadan’s eldest son Sromonjit and his wife – Bourani. On the other hand, a new equation between once close friends Raja and Mampi is also brewing up.

Sromonjit (Shankar Chakraborty) has returned to Swarupnagar along with his daughter Neel Pakhi (Sairity Banerjee) after a long time. Dadan is a staunch believer and upholder of traditional values. He refuses to accept him since he had left his wife and family to settle elsewhere. But Sromonjit, repentant about the same has been longing to unite with his family.

Noah, a firm believer in traditional values and being very close to Dadan, upholds the family’s cultural heritage and roots. She grew up in Dadan’s house with Dadan, Dida, and Bourani’s care. She has now taken up the responsibility to reunite the family and bring back joy and happiness. Will Noah be able to put a rest to all the differences and misunderstandings between Sromonjit and Bourani and bring them together?

Raja and Mampi, due to their misunderstandings, are unaware of their true feelings for each other. Raja’s growing friendship with Nilpakhi has also put Mampi through a roller-coaster ride of emotions.
