Actress Priyanka Bhattacharjee has been working in the Bengali film industry for the last ten years. She has worked in several web series, serials, and films and has made a name for herself as an actress.

Priyanka initially wanted to become an anchor initially. She enrolled in an institution for a two-year course. However, she got the offer to act in a serial within two months of joining the institute. Her first work was a serial Amader Bari on Aakash Bangla. After this, she has acted in serials like Ma, Bishorjon, Sotin Kata, and many more. She has worked several times with SVF- in their serials as well as in their web series.

The actress was last seen in director Mainak Bhaumik’s Maradonar Juto. Speaking about her role, the actress said “I played the role of a possessive girlfriend. It was a short role but the character was good and so I agreed to play it. I look at the importance of the character and not the length of time the character will be shown in the film or web series. Moreover, I wanted to work with Mainak da and this wish was also fulfilled with this series”.

According to the actress, the biggest compliment that she got from the director was that she is a good actress and will go a long way.

Apart from her projects in the Bengali film industry, the actress also has a project lined up in Mumbai. Another project on the cards is a music video.
