The Precaution dose for Covid is now available as a nasal drop, which is non-invasive and needle-free. As soon as a government notification with recommendations is issued, inoculation with this vaccine, known as iNCOVACC, will begin at Woodlands Hospital.

iNCOVACC, a product of Bharat Biotech, promises improved immunity to Covid-19. Only a booster dose, costing Rs 990 per dose, is available for the 18+ age range.

The inoculation will be administered at Woodlands Hospital, which has been a leader in the city’s Covid-19 vaccination landscape for many years. Once the immunization program begins, recipients can simply walk in and register at the OPD counters for their shots.

The nasal vaccination is only advised as a booster dosage. After completing the primary schedule (second dosage) of Covishield or Covaxin for six months or more, it may be administered as the third dose.

However, those who have already had a third dose of Covishield or Covaxin are exempt from receiving the nasal vaccine.
