Filmmaker and producer Aanand L Rai, who is renowned for pushing the boundaries of genres with films such as Raanjhanaa, Tumbbad, and Newton, is about to push the boundaries once again. His most recent project, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, is expected to take viewers on an even crazier journey than the acclaimed Haseen Dillruba trilogy.

“Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba is the craziest story we’ve told so far. The plot of the first film would be explosively continued in the sequel. The movie is filled with the kind of slick romance and enticing masala that Bollywood has sadly been lacking. Excitement has already been sparked by the trailer, which shows that this installment will be better than the previous in every way” said the director.

“I’ve always had a strong interest in telling original and captivating stories. Without question, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is Colour Yellow’s most bizarre tale to date. This sequel looks to give the masala that fans have been waiting for, with a blend of intense drama, spicy romance, and fascinating new characters and themes. This is as pulpy as it gets. It has been an incredible experience to work with such a wonderful cast and crew, and I can’t wait for the audience to share in the joy and excitement” added the director.

Slated for a Netflix release on August 9th, ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ is being produced under Rai’s esteemed banner, Colour Yellow Productions.
