The Prasanta Banerji Homeopathy Research Clinic (PBHRC) organized its First Children’s Art Competition to celebrate Children’s Day. This initiative was spearheaded by Dr Isha Banerji, the esteemed Director and Senior Practitioner of PBHRC.

The event, which took place on the clinic’s lawn, was open to the children of in-house staff, patients, and their families. Despite being the first of its type, the competition drew an incredible response, with more than 50 children participating. Participants were separated into two age groups: Group 1 (ages 3–7) and Group 2 (ages 8 and above). Ms Reena Deewan, Art Curator and Director of the Bridging Culture and Arts Foundation (B-CAF), judged the artworks.

“Art is an extremely vital element of our life. It is also the most efficient and straightforward method of self-expression. It offers great calm and satisfaction and is necessary for a healthy mind. We at PBHRC were humbled to have our young friends join in our inaugural endeavor. Their creativity left us completely awestruck” said Dr Isha Banerji, Director & Senior Practitioner, PBHRC.

“Seeing the vision and inventiveness of kids ages 3 to 14 at this event was incredibly motivating for me as an art curator and supporter of cross-cultural interaction. Their work serves as a reminder of the limitless potential of young brains and depicts the purest form of self-expression. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the event organizers for fostering this inclusive and creative atmosphere. The director and art curator for the Bridging Culture and Arts Foundation (B-CAF) is Ms. Reena Deewan.

The children’s inventiveness and the colorful artwork gave the early winter morning a lively charm. This fantastic project, which combined celebration, creativity, and community spirit, was well received by parents. Jit Das, an 11-year-old unique youngster whose excitement and energy left a lasting effect on everyone, was a special highlight of the event.
