Talking Zebra Campaign- A Unique Idea On Road Safety Awareness
Zuno General Insurance, a cutting-edge digital insurer that was formerly known as Edelweiss General Insurance, has started a novel road safety awareness campaign called “The Talking Zebra” to inform drivers and pedestrians about the significance of obeying traffic laws entertainingly and memorably.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has declared January to be Road Safety Month, and this campaign, which runs from January 16 to 25, is part of Zuno General Insurance’s commitment to encourage responsible driving practices for safer roads. Zuno hopes to increase public attention to lowering traffic accidents and promoting a safe driving culture with the Talking Zebra Campaign.
A clever and interactive Zebra that comes to life at traffic lights is part of the Talking Zebra campaign, a unique and inventive endeavor. In six major cities—Mumbai, Goa, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru—a promoter dressed as a zebra—the very personification of zebra crossings—will engage with people at busy traffic lights as part of the campaign. To make road safety an issue that everyone wants to discuss and a genuine concern, the mascot will engage with both drivers and pedestrians using wit and comedy. The Talking Zebra will encourage everyone to “Keep your cool, follow traffic rules” and spread awareness of important behaviors including avoiding jaywalking, stopping at red lights, and observing zebra crossings.
By presenting fresh and imaginative ideas that benefit both vehicles and pedestrians, the campaign tackles concerns related to pedestrian safety.
Zuno General Insurance teamed up with well-known radio station Red FM to maximize the campaign’s impact and reach, enabling “The Talking Zebra” to spread the word via the airways. By using the hashtags #TalkingZebra, #RespectTheStripes, and #StayCoolFollowRules on social media, Zuno General Insurance has also reached out to the public, urging people to join the cause.
Everyone is encouraged by Zuno General Insurance to promise to obey road laws and join The Talking Zebra movement.
