Trailer Of Shreeman Vs Shreemati Out Now; A Great Romantic Comedy To Look Out For

The trailer launch of the upcoming Bengali film Shreeman Vs Shreemati was graced by the cast and crew of the film.
The story of the film is based on the longest-running divorce case in India.

The Kolkata Mail correspondent caught up with the actors who shared their experiences of working in the film at the trailer launch event.
Anjan Dutt said the film is a romantic comedy. “Despite the film being promoted as a story about a divorce case, it is essentially a fun film. I had great fun shooting the film. I had never done such a character before, and I never did such action scenes. It will be a great thing for the audience to see the actors in such different roles,” said the actor.

Parambrata Chatterjee said that in life, there is a union as well as a separation. “The fact that the divorce case went on for 27 years proved that one of the couple did not want the divorce. This is a different character that I have played for this film. It is a loud character and one that the audience will not associate much with me generally,” said the actor.
Anjana Basu said, “The journey of shooting the film was amazing. Though the film says that it is a long story of parting ways, I feel that if the journey is so long, then it becomes a story of love itself. This is a milestone film in my career. It was a great experience working with Mithun Chakraborty”.

Biswanath Basu said that he and the director Pathikrit worked for many years under director Ravi Kinagi. The actor said that Pathikrit can also show a story in a massy manner.
Roshni Bhattacharyya said that the story appealed to her and hence she worked in this film. To portray her character, she drew references from what she saw around her in her day to day life. That helped her to breathe life in the character.

Madhumita Sarcar, Satyam Bhattacharya, and others will be seen in important roles in the film.
The film is produced by Adipta Majumder.

The film will release on the 1st of May.
