The 26th Russian Education Fair 2025 was arranged by the Russian House in Kolkata in collaboration with Rus Education for students who want to study in Russia. The Russian House in Gorky Sadan served as the venue for the fair.

Mr. Maxim V. Kozlov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Kolkata, and Ms. Ekaterina Tyurina, Vice Consul of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Kolkata, graced the occasion.

Kolkata, New Delhi, Patna, Ahmedabad, Indore, Chandigarh, and Jaipur are hosting this year’s Russian Education Fair. The sole purpose of the fair is to assist Indian students who wish to study in Russia for higher education in disciplines like engineering, aviation, and medicine, among others. The occasion also brought attention to the state of education today, the growing popularity of studying overseas, the growing demand for education in Russia, the rise of new schools, and the growing number of students from the Northeast, East India, and Kolkata.

The universities participating in the Kolkata fair are B.B. Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University, Orenburg State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Perm State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Pskov State University, Mari State University, and others.

The goal of the exclusive Kolkata Fair was to bring leading Russian universities under one roof.
