In partnership with Diageo Brand Ambassador Arpan Nandi, Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences will host Bar Takeover 1.0 at Café Joy’s Sante- The Bar on Sunday, July 6. The event, which is planned as an immersive evening of handcrafted cocktails, modern mixology, and laid-back indulgence, is set to provide guests with a novel and refreshing perspective on Kolkata’s changing bar culture.

Arpan Nandi, who is well-known in the industry for his extensive knowledge of spirits and inventive mixology, will be creating a menu of signature drinks that combine daring ingredients, cutting-edge methods, and inspiration from around the world.

On offer will be cocktails like Shrub County (Johnnie Walker Black Label, apple cinnamon shrub, saline), Kolkata Mary (Ketel One with clarified tomato mix), Gin Voyager (Tanqueray with yuzu, lemongrass, and coco caramel foam), and the Peri Peri Paloma (Don Julio Blanco, grapefruit, Italian bitters, and peri peri spice).

Executive Chef Vikram Jaiswal will present an exclusive high-tea table that will be set up at Sante – The Bar for guests. The offerings will include Sundal Salad, Chicken Seekh Kebab, Lamb Pizzette, and White Forest Cake to combine well with Arpan Nandi’s signature cocktails.
