ASSOCHAM EY Knowledge Report Out Now

The Government of West Bengal has made significant investments in establishing the necessary facilities to advance education at the school level and beyond by establishing colleges and universities. Additionally, Binod Kumar, Principal Secretary School & Higher Education (Additional), West Bengal, stated that the government is making significant efforts to support digital education, which is producing favorable results.
Over the past ten to twelve years, this has enabled the State to make notable progress in the field of education.
The Assocham EY Knowledge report on AI as a catalyst for education delivery was released during the event.
H.E. Dr. Andrew Fleming, the British Deputy High Commissioner to East and Northeast India, stated that there is a great deal of potential for cooperation between the UK and India in the area of education. Up to 1.3 to 1.4 lakh Indian students were granted visas by the UK last year, according to estimates.
“The graduate visa route is advantageous for students traveling to the UK. There has been a great deal of success since we modified our policy a few years ago to allow for that opportunity. Last year, through March 2024, I believe 43,000 graduate route visas were issued to India. That’s a huge amount. Therefore, I believe it’s undoubtedly appealing, and more students have decided to study in the UK as a result of this opportunity,” said Fleming.
According to Kevin Goh, Acting Consul General, Consulate General of Australia, Australia is in a good position as an educational community to collaborate with India in a variety of areas, including secondary, vocational, and skills training, in addition to universities.
According to Dilip Shah, Rector and Dean of Student Affairs at The Bhawanipur Education Society College, it is crucial to focus on one small idea when discussing globalizing education and attaining excellence: hiring the “best brain” to teach.
Manoj Joshi, the chairman of the Higher Education Council-East, Assocham, and Taranjit Singh, the chairman of the Assocham Eastern Region Development Council, both expressed their dedication to the education sector.
