Rupsha Guha’s How Are You Feroz?- A Great Labor Of Love

“How Are You Feroz” by Rupsha Guha is now making its public debut after an incredible journey across the international festival circuit, garnering praise and moving hearts.
The film, which has been praised for its subtle storytelling and moving performances, is a profoundly personal story that examines identity, longing, and silent resilience. Audiences will now be able to witness the emotional depth and visual genius that made it a festival favorite as it makes its theatrical debut.
The film’s trailer launch took place recently.

Feroz, an antique art dealer, has a strong interest in his artifacts. Each of them has a backstory, one that is as distinct and distinctive as their existence. Along with the artifacts scattered all about him, he loved his parents and the girl he grew up with as a young man. He had to separate them one by one as time went on.
Eventually, when he was lonely, he would lose himself in his love letters and savor the memories of his past while surrounded by his artwork, which brought him great delight. As he began to perceive life in them, he increasingly found it difficult to sell them, which was, incidentally, his original job. Because he was afraid of losing, he began to think the artwork was of his loved ones.
The letters make this dichotomy clear; they may even be a dialogue with himself that examines his mental state. Feroz may have found the love and reciprocity he sought. What happens next?

This is Rupsha Guha’s first feature film. She has directed short films before.
She started her journey as an actress. And that paved the way for her to develop a liking for making films.
Rupsha Guha said, “The film uses different languages as are spoken in Kolkata. The Kolkata I grew up in has people from diverse backgrounds, and they speak different languages. This is what I have shown in the film as well”.
The cast of the film consists of Aryann Bhowmik, Ratasree Dutta, Kheya Chattopadhyay, Anusha Viswanathan, Ashoke Viswanathan, Rana Basu Thakur, Bidyut Das, and others.
Kheya Chattopadhyay said, “All the artifacts have their own story. The film has an amazing story. My character goes to Feroz’s shop and learns about him through the stories he says about the artifacts”.

Ratasree said, “I play a Parsee character in the film. I got to learn about the Parsee culture and traditions. It was a great experience. This is my first work with Rupsha di. She paid close attention to detail and never compromised in any area. Aryann is a fantastic co-actor. I enjoyed it a lot during the shoot of the film”.
The film is eyeing for release soon.
