An Excellent Screening Package “Liver Insight” To Detect Liver Ailments

Suraksha Diagnostic Limited organized an awareness event at its NKDA centre in Kolkata to highlight the burden of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) in India. This was organized on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day.
The session was graced by Prof K. D. Biswas, Head of Department, Hepatology and Gastroenterology, Medical College, Kolkata, and Dr. Vikash Prakash, Consultant, Liver and Gastrointestinal Diseases.
Also gracing the occasion was Dr. Somnath Chatterjee, Chairman and Joint Managing Director, Suraksha Clinic and Diagnostics.
Due to bad dietary habits, sedentary lifestyle, and addiction to screen time, the fatty liver disease in India is at 30 to 40 percent.
The doctors highlighted how NAFLD steadily progresses into advanced liver diseases like MASLD (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease) and MASH (metabolic-associated steatohepatitis). This ultimately leads to fibrosis, cirrhosis, and eventually liver failure. Through timely screening and lifestyle changes, one can reverse this health threat.
As part of the awareness drive, Suraksha Clinic and Diagnostics launched a dedicated screening package titled Liver Insight. The package consists of Liver function test (LFT), Sugar, Lipid profile, HBsAG, Anti-HCV, HAV IgM, HEV IgM, and Liver elastography (fibrosis scan).
The package is priced at Rs 12,200 and is available at a special promotional rate of Rs 6100 with a 50 percent discount. The people will get the report on the same day at select centres.
