This multigenerational Bengali drama, which is produced by Windows Productions and starring Rakhee Gulzar in a strong comeback role, is directed by the well-known team of Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee. The movie, which also stars Gourab Chatterjee, Sauraseni Maitra, Srabanti Chatterjee, and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, has already won praise at major gatherings, including the 22nd Chennai International Film Festival and the 55th International Film Festival of India-Goa. Aamar Boss, which will only be available on Bangla ZEE5, promises a moving mix of inspiration, tears, and comedy.

While his mother, Shubhra (Rakhee Gulzar), a retired nurse, subtly and unexpectedly re-enters his life, publishing house owner Animesh (Shiboprosad Mukherjee) finds himself torn between work and personal struggles. At its core, the narrative examines a loving but complicated mother-son bond against the demanding background of business life, where love, generational norms, and the pursuit of equilibrium all clash.
