At the SPL Volvo dealership in Kolkata, Volvo Car India presented the EX30, their newest BEV, setting a cutting-edge standard for all-electric SUVs. The eagerly anticipated all-electric SUV will be formally unveiled at the end of September, along with pricing information, and customer deliveries will start in October 2025. The company’s plant in Hosakote, Bengaluru, Karnataka, is where the EX30 is now being assembled.

With the lowest carbon footprint of any completely electric Volvo to date, the EX30 is Volvo’s most environmentally friendly vehicle. Its stylish interiors are constructed from recycled denim, PET bottles, aluminum, PVC pipes, and other materials. The EX30, which combines modern technology and Scandinavian design, received a five-star rating in the Euro NCAP safety test. Active safety features, including an intersection auto brake to reduce crashes, a door-opening alert to stop “dooring” accidents, and the very sophisticated Safe Space Technology—which includes five cameras, five radars, and twelve ultrasonic sensors—are also included in the EX30.

A completely immersive experience is provided by the five ambient lighting themes and noises that are based on Scandinavian seasons and landscapes. This cutting-edge system provides everyone with vivid surround sound thanks to nine high-performance speakers, a 1040W amplifier, and the innovative Harman Kardon soundbar concept. With Google built in, 5G connectivity, OTA updates, and much more, the 12.3-inch high-resolution center display is user-friendly and versatile. This head-turner has received numerous international accolades and features a sleek new style. These include the World Urban Car of the Year 2024 and the coveted Red Dot award for Best of the Best Product Design 2024.

An 8-year battery warranty and a wall box charger are included as standard equipment with the EX30. Additionally, the car reinvents how people use it. To unlock a car using the NFC (Near Frequency Card), simply tap the sensor. Furthermore, the phone itself functions as a key when using Digital Key Plus in the Volvo Car App. It’s safer, smarter, and shockingly frictionless in addition to being convenient.
