Bonedi Barir Bhoj, an exceptional Durga Puja buffet meal modeled by the lavish feasts of Bengal’s zamindari homes, will be served at the Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport in honor of Durga Puja. This special offering, available at Social Kitchen, combines a wide variety of authentic meals and hearty classics to celebrate traditional Bengali cuisine and festive heritage. With a series of courses spanning from welcome drinks and appetizers to substantial main dishes and traditional sweets, the menu, which was thoughtfully created by the hotel’s culinary team, inspires memories and a sense of community.

The buffet will offer dishes like Phuchka-r songge Anarosh-er Tok-Jhal-Misty Jol, Dhonepata Lebu Diye Masoor dal-er Shorba, Lasuni Murg Sorba, Sundori Beguni, Mourola Macher Jhuri Bhaja, Thakur Barir Mach Bora, Murgi-ar-Kolmisaag-er Phuluri, Chhanar Dhakai Korma, Basanti Pulao, Aloor Dum, Sorshe Bhapa Mach, Chhingri Malai Curry, Kolkata Chicken Tikka Biriyani, Komola Bhog, Labongo Latika, and Gangarampurer Kheer Doi amongst many others.

This year, the menu’s highlights are dedicated to Bengal’s celebrated patriots, including Raja Ram Mohan Roy’s favourite Aam-o-Narkeler Misti Sorbot, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s favourite Bhaja Moong Dal, Matangini Hazra’s favourite Aloo Jhinge Posto, Master Da Surya Sen’s favourite Sorshe Pui Saag-er Daata Chorchori, BaghaJatin’s favourite Lal Mangsher Jhol, Swami Vivekananda’s favourite Chushir Payesh, and Rabindranath Tagore’s favourite Rosogolla.
