Country Club Hospitality Is Now A Debt-Free Business

A significant turnaround was scripted by Country Club Hospitality & Holidays Ltd (CCHHL), a pioneer in India’s leisure sector. As of Q1 FY 2025-26, the company has effectively eliminated a crippling debt load of over Rs 600 crores, making it a fully debt-free and profitable organization. A significant new era of stability and rapid expansion is heralded by this financial renaissance.
Since its founding more than 35 years ago, Country Club has been known for establishing a “Happy Industry”, with its family of more than 2 million members enjoying vacations, clubbing, entertainment, and exercise all combined into one seamless experience. But during the COVID-19 epidemic, this voyage was put to the ultimate test. As the hospitality industry faced previously unheard-of difficulties, Country Club came up with creative ways to maintain its sense of community by switching to online wellness, yoga, and fitness classes, thereby reaffirming its fundamental dedication to the well-being of its members even when they were alone.
Now that it is debt-free, the business is pursuing its ambitious expansion goals. With strategic agreements already securing top properties across India, a new franchise-led model is driving its expansion. This new orientation, which brings members closer to the splendor of the Himalayas, is demonstrated by the recent signing of the Valley Vista Resort in the stunning surroundings of Gangtok, Sikkim. Country Club is now working on reaching 100 destinations from its present network of 51 properties.
CCHHL has introduced the special VIP Gold Membership Card, which is filled with tailored events and privileged access, to commemorate this momentous turning point and enable its members to participate in this new journey.
The essence of Country Club is found in its appreciation of community, which transcends its physical location. With lavish celebrations for Holi, Diwali, Eid, Christmas, New Year, Navratri, and other holidays, it serves as a thriving center where India’s diverse cultural fabric is brought to life and brings people together via happiness, music, and cherished memories.
Country Club is ideally positioned to reshape leisure and hospitality in India with its strong financial base, quickly growing portfolio of destinations, and unwavering emphasis on holistic living and cultural unity.
