In Kolkata, Durga Puja is more than simply a celebration; it is a feeling that turns the city into a magnificent display of art, music, culture, and devotion. The entire city comes alive with the spirit of devotion and celebration as the streets are illuminated with stunning pandals, and traditional dhak beats fill the air. The festival’s grandeur was particularly reflected this year at Delhi Public School Kolkata, which celebrated the event with a lively cultural show. Prosenjit Chatterjee, the megastar of Bengal, was invited as the main guest to celebrate Durga Puja with the kids, professors, and the school director. His presence was the event’s high point. 

During the performance, Delhi Public School Kolkata, which is renowned for emphasizing academic brilliance along with cultural richness, demonstrated the spirit of unity and tradition. Students captured the spirit of Bengal’s most cherished event by presenting artwork inspired by Durga Puja, performing traditional dances, and reciting shlokas. Prosenjit Chatterjee enthusiastically and warmly joined them, engaging with the kids, praising their performances, and discussing the importance of Durga Puja as a celebration of ethnic pride and community.

The event exquisitely combined the essence of Durga Puja and Navratri, demonstrating how the festival in Kolkata is a magnificent fusion of joy and devotion. With tradition and celebrity coming together under one roof, the pupils had a day they would never forget.
