Young people are the foundation of our civilization. Our future will be shaped by them. Their inner power, mental sanity, and athletic prowess are being destroyed from an early age due to the widespread influence of addiction, social media, and other socio-political evil forces. In order to save them, our social duty should and must awaken; else, the future of our everyday lives would be grim.

For the past 20 years, Bobby Chakraborty, a well-known actor, activist, and method acting instructor from Kolkata, India, has been accomplishing just that with his award-winning, free, and transformative youth worldwide awareness program, “I Am The King of My Mind”.

This was the third time Bobby had conducted a session at Swarnim International School. Students in grades 9 through 11 gave the session overwhelmingly good feedback.

Bobby’s motivational session enabled them to steer clear of all the negative social trends (bullying, ragging, online obscenity for popularity, gambling through online games, abusive language, alcoholism, substance abuse, and smartphone addiction) and the dark forces of addiction (smoking, alcoholism, substance abuse, and so on). The goal of this session was to help children become more capable of controlling their thoughts so they can lead better lives as they get older.

The official photographer of this session was soldier Shinjan Mandal (XI), who was assisted by ‘The 1st Soldier’ and ‘The Trendsetter’ Debarghya Dey(IX). Debarghya was also the most participative soldier in the session, along with soldier Snehal.

The winners of the concluding surprise contest were soldiers Rajshankar Das(IX), Sreyan Bhattacharya (X), and Rayan Chatterjee (IX), along with Shinjan. They were given special gifts, soldiers’ t-shirts, and community service certificates by Bobby.

The kids, who were Bobby’s “soldiers” in this dangerous fight against the darkness, unquestionably declared that this special day was the ideal beginning to their forthcoming festivities.
