With more than 1000 young students participating, Kangaroo Kids International Preschool, India’s top premium international preschool brand, celebrated Durga Puja with lively celebrations at more than 20 locations in Kolkata. The festivities brought the city’s most beloved holiday to life in meaningful ways by fusing joy, education, and creativity to introduce kids to India’s rich cultural traditions.

Kangaroo Kids, renowned for its creative and kid-centered methodology, taught kids the importance of community, creativity, and cultural awareness via joyful activities that skillfully combine play and education. The program promoted curiosity, imagination, and joyful participation through storytelling sessions about the Goddess Durga legend and interactive art and craft activities like clay modeling, diya decoration, and making festive illustrations.

Children clothed in traditional clothing participated in dance, music, and role-playing as part of cultural events that gave them a stage on which to express themselves and gain confidence. Children’s artwork with a puja theme was used to decorate the centers, which helped to further promote a feeling of pride in Bengal’s rich cultural legacy.
