A Special CPR Training Session For Dhakis Organized

A missed heartbeat can be fatal, just as a missed dhak beat can ruin the rhythm of Dhunuchi Nach during Durga Puja. Manipal Hospitals hosted a special CPR training session for Durga Puja‘s heart and soul, the Dhakis, on World Heart Day with the theme “Don’t Miss a Beat”.
Following a formal occasion where renowned director, actor, and producer Shiboprasad Mukherjee was the main guest, the event began with CPR instruction for Dhakis. The day’s high point was the Healthy Heart Patient Summit, when prominent cardiologists and cardiac surgeons provided valuable ideas and patients shared their inspirational tales.

Manipal Hospitals in Bengaluru have already achieved a spot in the Guinness World Records for their excellent work in emergency preparedness and CPR training, continuing their commitment to provide life-saving practical training. Manipal Hospitals has skillfully combined tradition and modern healthcare with this special initiative for Dhakis, reminding everyone that just as the dhak provides the rhythm of Durga Puja, a healthy heart provides the rhythm of life. Dhakis can now step up in times of need and ensure that no one’s life is missed.

In response to the widespread worry that physicians might not be available over the holiday, Manipal Hospitals Kolkata made another step this year to assist patients during Puja. During Durga Puja, patients and their family members can now call doctors at any time thanks to the hospital’s first-ever round-the-clock telecommunications capability.
