Ghore Ferar Angikar, a commitment to return home safely, is a community connect effort that ILS Hospitals, Dumdum, in collaboration with Bidhannagar Police and Barrackpore Police, executed on the occasion of World Trauma Day. The program’s objectives were to increase community preparedness for medical emergencies and raise public understanding of trauma management and traffic safety.

ILS Hospitals is supporting the helmets that we are distributing at Biswa Bangla Gate. This program seeks to advance responsible driving practices and road safety. We are deeply appreciative of ILS Hospitals’ ongoing community welfare initiatives. We hope that these helmets will help save lives in the future. We urge all pedestrians and two-wheeler riders to strictly follow traffic rules, always wear helmets and seatbelts, and drive responsibly,” said Mr. Manav Singhla, DCP, New Town.

To promote responsible riding and adherence to traffic safety regulations, helmets were given to cyclists at three important city intersections: Biswa Bangla More, Nager Bazar More, and Airport Gate No. 1. At the same time, police officers and ambulance teams at Baranagar PS, Belghoria PS, and Dumdum PS participated in CPR and Trauma Handling Training courses led by specialized physicians from ILS Hospitals, Dumdum. In order to equip frontline responders with critical life-saving skills, the sessions concentrated on Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Mobilization, and Emergency Patient Management. As a sign of their readiness to manage trauma circumstances, ILS Hospitals awarded diplomas to participants who successfully finished the course.

The program effectively reaffirmed the hospital’s dedication to trauma treatment and community well-being, solidifying ILS Hospitals’ position as Eastern India’s top trauma and emergency management provider.
