Focus Of Deep Fridge’s Trailer On Great Performances & Emotions
The cast and the crew graced the trailer launch of the National Award-winning Bengali film Deep Fridge.
Deep Fridge, produced by Krishna Kyal and directed by Arjunn Dutta, has already received widespread praise for its masterful storytelling and cinematography.
Divorces can be challenging. Our brains have developed a desire for love and companionship that lasts just long enough to make a person susceptible. Both Swarnava and Mili in “Deep Fridge” fall prey to this cruel, discriminatory notion of an ideal marriage. Will they be able to find closure after their divorce and see things more clearly in an attempt to create a guilt-free future for each of them independently, that is, just for Tatai, their only child?
A peek of the film’s complex emotions, riveting performances, and arresting visuals—all of which promise an extraordinary cinematic experience—can be seen in the just-released trailer.
The director said, “Despite the film having won a National award, this is not a very serious film. It is an entertaining film that mirrors the society in today’s times. We shot the film during the summer when the temperature was around 42 degrees. I am hoping to get a positive response from the audience after its validation at the National Award event”.
The cast of the film consists of Abir Chatterjee, Tnusree Chakraborty, Debjani Chatterjee, Anuradha Mukherjee, Kaushik Chatterjee, Shoaib Kabeer, Arya Dasgupta, and Lakshya Bhattacharya in important roles.
Arya Dasgupta said, “The director asked me to do this role as he thought I would fit the role perfectly. So I did this role, and I hope that the audience will shower me with great love after watching the film”.
Anuradha Mukherjee said, “I dubbed for the role about a year back. So watching the trailer now is like looking at my character in a new light. My work is done, and now the results will be out. I am hoping for good feedback from the audience”.
The story of the film is by Arjunn Dutta.
The screenplay is by Arjunn Dutta and Ashirbad Maitra.
The music of the film has been composed by Soumya Rit.

The film is all set to hit theatres on 21st November.
