The team of the upcoming Bengali film Lawho Gouranger Naam Rey engaged in a thoughtful session at the Chaitanya Research Institute, Kolkata.

The session saw a great panel discussion with Sri Bhakti Bhushan Turyashrami Maharaj, Srijit Mukherji, Shibashis Bandyopadhyay, Padma Palash, and Indraadip Dasgupta.

The cast of the film, comprising Subhashree Ganguly, Ishaa Saha, Dibyojyoti Dutta, Susmita Chatterjee, Aratrika Maity, and others, graced the event.

The amazing event started with a soulful musical invocation by Padma Palash.

The conversation of the panel discussion focused on the world of Sri Chaitanya Dev and Mahaprabhu Jagannath. They threw light on the historical, spiritual, and cultural link between Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Lord Jagannath.

Speaking at the event, Srijit Mukherji said, “Rana already was telling me to do a film on Chaitanya Dev for many years now. He had earlier done a serial on him. However, this ultimately occurred during a discussion session. Shibashis da is like Sidhu jetha for me. He is an academic guide for me when it comes to doing research for any film. Everybody is thinking that the film is made by me, but the film is actually being made by Shibashis da and Rana”.

After the special session, the team visited the mandir for a pujo offering.

The film is eyeing for release on the 25^th of December.
