Marwari Sanskrit Manch will host the Marudhar Mela, a colorful celebration of Rajasthan‘s rich cultural legacy in Kolkata. Under the direction of Vikash Poddar, the mela offers an immersive experience through art, culture, cuisine, and folk performances, bringing together the colors, sounds, and customs of Rajasthan under one roof.

The specifically organized artistic program by Kkhubii, a creative and cultural platform supported by IIM Bangalore and NSRCEL Mumbai, will be a major highlight of the evening. Kkhubii, under the direction of Shrestha Ganguly, is renowned for its modern yet deeply ingrained approach to cultural storytelling and community involvement. Kkhubii continues to create significant cultural experiences for a varied audience by bridging legacy with contemporary expression through its well-planned programs.

Renowned dancer Avirup Sengupta and his group will have a unique performance during the cultural showcase, showcasing a vibrant and genuine Rajasthani folk dance performance. The audience will be enthralled by their performance, which promises to capture the energy, rhythm, and storytelling essence of Rajasthan’s folk traditions.

The Marudhar Mela honors the enduring beauty of Rajasthani customs and is envisioned as a true cultural convergence.
