The Punjabi Food Festival is held in The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata’s outdoor restaurant, Alfresco, bringing the bold, rich flavors of Punjab to the city center. The festival, which gives visitors an authentic culinary experience inspired by the country of five rivers, will be open for lunch and dinner starting on January 13, 2026. The celebration, which has its roots in authenticity, honors Punjab’s long-standing culinary customs with heartfelt dishes, abundant flavors, and traditional cooking methods.

The carefully chosen menu offers a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian treats that capture the daring and rustic essence of Punjabi cooking.

Guests can relish dishes like Bhatti da Murgh, Patiala Fish Tikka, Sarson Bhuna Mutton Boti, Lasooni Jhinga, Sarson Paneer Tikka, Dal Badam Shorba, Chicken Pind da Shorba, Sarson da Saag, Pind ke Chole, Paneer Potala ka Khazana, Amritsari Mutton Curry, Punjabi Murgh, Chicken Methi Sarson ki Lagan, Amritsari Kulcha, Makki ki Roti, Methi Roti, Methi Murgh Biryani, Aloo Methi ki Tehri, Gajar ka Halwa, Besan ki Barfi, and Pinni.

The Punjabi Food Festival at Alfresco promises a decadent dining experience that combines nostalgia and sophistication, all set amongst the legendary hotel’s cultural charm. During the festival time, Lalit Loyalty members will also receive double points on qualifying purchases.
