The devotional journey, teachings, and spiritual awakening of Hindu saint, mystic, and religious reformer Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486–1534) will soon be brought to life on screen in Aakash Aath‘s new devotional mega serial Nader Nimai. Shri Chaitanya Prabhu’s teachings on love, devotion, equality, and humanity—which have inspired millions of people over the years—will be depicted in the show.

The mega serial features actors Ranit Basu, Arian Pratim Maity, and Safalya Debnath as Nimai. The ensemble cast also includes Bodhisattwa Majumdar as Advaita Acharya, Adrian Sarkar and Sourit Banerjee as Vishwarup, Soumi Banerjee as Sachi Mata, Arindam Chatterjee as Jagannath, Abhishek Mukherjee as Shribas Pandit, Ankita Das as Malini, Kaustav Chowdhury as Chandrashekhar, and Sangeeta Biswas as Sarbojaya.

We have tried to convey his life and teachings through Nader Nimai in a way that speaks to audiences of all ages while adhering to the spiritual and historical core of his remarkable journey,” said Mr. Sushanta Basu, Nader Nimai’s director.

Nader Nimai tells the story of the bubbly and playful Nimai Pandit’s transformation into the revered Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in fifteenth-century Nabadwip, a famous center of learning. In addition to portraying the social, cultural, and historical context of Bengal in the sixteenth century, the serial delves into his family life, spiritual awakening, hardships, sacrifices, and his unwavering quest for the divine truth.

Directed by Sushanta Basu, the research and story of Nader Nimai have been written by Geeta Biswas, and the screenplay is by Writam Ghoshal and Sayan Chowdhury

The dialogues are penned by Sayan Chowdhury and Anjan Chakraborty.

Aakash Aath will premiere Nader Nimai on 29th June, 2026. Watch the new mega serial from Monday to Saturday at 7:00 PM.
