Focus On Safe Online Conduct With Cyber Cop Campaign

In collaboration with renowned filmmaker Rohit Shetty, Bandhan Bank announced the launch of Cyber Cop, a national cyber awareness campaign, as part of its CSR initiative. The program seeks to encourage safer online conduct and assist citizens in better responding to the growing number of cybercrimes.
The campaign coincides with a dramatic increase in cybercrime in India. According to government-linked data, over 24 lakh complaints were filed in 2025, and losses reported through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal totaled approximately Rs 22,495 crore.
Through movies, awareness campaigns, and public outreach, Cyber Cop aims to make cyber safety easier by urging people to adopt the straightforward habit of “Pause. Verify. Report”. Additionally, it instructs citizens to report incidents through the 1930 helpline and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.
With his well-known cop universe, filmmaker Rohit Shetty has joined the campaign to broaden its appeal and reinforce the notion that cyberthreats are now a commonplace aspect of digital life.
According to a Bandhan Bank spokesperson, “One of the most urgent issues in India’s digital ecosystem is cyber fraud. Our goal with Cyber Cop is to raise awareness that encourages people to think things through before acting, to double-check before trusting, and to report issues right away”.
Bandhan Bank hopes to empower people to make safer choices when using digital financial services and support broader public awareness campaigns.
