Shoite Shoite, the opening note of revolution from Srijit Mukherji’s long-anticipated Emperor Vs Sarat Chandra, is now released, embodying the spirit of rebellion, courage, and resistance.

The song also represents a major creative achievement for filmmaker Srijit Mukherji, since Shoite Shoite is his first composition for one of his own films. Crafted and composed by Srijit himself, the track fuses his cinematic vision with his musical expression to convey the revolutionary spirit at the core of the film.

Powerfully brought to life by Timir Biswas, Shoite Shoite transcends the boundaries of a mere song; it embodies an extension of the film’s universe where literature, resistance, and the tumultuous spirit of its time converge.

The music production is by Souptik Mazumder and Achin Sarkar. The vocal hook and aalap have been performed by Sutirtha Chakraborty, while Antaraa Bhataacharya has provided the female backing vocals and vocal design. Srijit Mukherji himself has also lent his voice to the male backing vocals.

Presented by Nandy Movies, Emperor Vs Sarat Chandra is produced by Pradip Kumar Nandy. The film features an ensemble cast including Abir Chatterjee, Tota Roy Choudhury, Mimi Chakraborty, Divyani Mondal, Rik Chatterjee, Debopriyo Mukherjee, Sanjoy Nag and Kanchan Mullick.

Tota Roy Choudhury said this is one of his favourite songs in 2026 and will immediately add it to his playlist.

Abir Chatterjee urged the audiences to watch the film during the Pujas and to give such a great film a chance to fare well at the box office.

For Emperor Vs Sarat Chandra, Srijit Mukherji takes on several creative responsibilities, overseeing screenplay, dialogue, editing, music, and lyrics, thereby further defining the film’s unique cinematic style.
