On International Women’s Day, Kolkata saw a star-studded evening as the Phool Pishi O Edward crew united to celebrate the film’s conclusion with a colorful sundowner party at Polo Floatel.

The cast and crew of the movie came together for the festive event, which marked the grand conclusion of the eagerly awaited project.

Attending the event were leading actors Sohini Sengupta, Raima Sen, Arjun Chakraborty, Anamika Saha, Ananya Chatterjee, Shyamoupti Mudli, Rishav Basu, and Soumya Mukherjee, who shared memories from their time on set.

The film’s creative core, which included directors Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, cinematographer Animesh Ghorui, music director Joy Sarkar, makeup artist Papiya Chanda, costume designer Anupam Roy, and art directors Mridul and Saswati, was also present on the evening.

A rapid-fire session that revealed many behind-the-scenes tales and entertaining insights from the shoot was one of the lively exchanges that took place during the sundowner. When director Nandita Roy jokingly disclosed that Raima Sen was the “most naughty” cast member during filming, it was one of the most amusing moments.

Raima Sen expressed her enthusiasm for the trip while discussing the experience. “Phool Pishi O Edward has been such a lovely and unforgettable experience. There was a lot of laughter, warmth, and inventiveness on set. It feels really special to celebrate the wrap with everyone,” said the actress.

Director Nandita Roy considered the unity that characterized the project. “For all of us, making this movie has been a labor of love. The journey was genuinely joyful because of the cast and crew’s enthusiasm, commitment, and camaraderie. And yes, Raima kept the mischief alive on set,” said the actress.

Now that the shoot is complete, the Phool Pishi O Edward team is eager to share the story with viewers in the near future, continuing the spirit of cooperation and joy that characterized the evening.
