In addition to being the Bengali New Year, Poila Baisakh signifies a deep connection to Bengal’s gastronomic legacy. The Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport is hosting Baisakh-er Amontron, a festive buffet featuring traditional Bengali flavours made using age-old recipes that have been handed down through the generations, this Bengali New Year 1432.

The buffet is a sensory extravaganza that features a wide variety of Bengali cuisine that can bring back memories of dishes from grandma’s kitchen.

The dishes on offer are Pyaaz Postor Bora, Fowl Cutlet, Morog Pulao, Chanar Dhakai Korma, Posto Chingri Bata, Begun Bharta, Mochar Chop, Sorshe Bhape Pabda, Pur Bhara Doi Potol, and Sil a Bata Lal Mangsher Jhol.

To enhance the guests’ experience and introduce them to Bengal’s rhythmic soul, a special Baul Sangeet performance will be held.
