Babu Culture will be doing something unique this Republic Day. To observe this beautiful occasion, the food joint has come up with a plan to pay tribute to the elders who were born before 1950.

From 23^rd to 26^th of January, the food joint will be offering a specially curated thali to these senior citizens on the house. This is a small gesture to acknowledge their contributions in shaping the nation.

A grand event was organized at the Dover Lane outlet, where five senior citizens born before 1950 attended the launch of this special initiative.

Mrs. Mridula Mazumdar, founder of Babu Culture, felicitated the seniors and asked for their blessings in the future. She also urged her customers to bring such seniors to Babu Culture so that they could be honoured for their contributions.

They were presented with flower bouquets and a certificate to honor them.

The thali will be available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian formats.

The vegetarian thali is priced at Rs 600, and the non-vegetarian thali is priced at Rs 850.

Some of the food items that will be a part of the thali are Thakur barir pulao, Palok luchi, Doi phoolkopi, Kancha lonkar torkari, Aloo piyajkoli bhaja, Dopahari lal mangsho, Lonka dhoniya chingri, chutney, papad, and many more.

Since this is a Republic Day special offering, the food will have a tri-color theme.

This will be available at all the outlets of Babu Culture in Kolkata.
