A Special Screening Of Tanvi The Great At Quest Mall, Kolkata

At Inox, Quest Mall, Park Circus, Kolkata, the Tata Power Community Development Trust (TPCDT) and Anupam Kher Studio presented a special screening of the movie Tanvi The Great. In line with Tata Power’s flagship Pay Autention project, which aims to increase knowledge, comprehension, and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder and the wider neurodiversity spectrum, the event represented a significant step.
In the compelling story Tanvi The Great, a young neurodiverse girl breaks social norms to follow her dreams. The film provokes important discussions about inclusion, acceptance, and perseverance by delicately capturing the difficulties and assets of people on the autism spectrum.
Mr. Himal Tewari, CHRO & Chief Sustainability & CSR, other Tata Power executives, more than 260 participants, including PWDs and neurodiverse people, parents, caregivers, experts, Pay Autention NGO partners, and Tata Group enterprises, attended the screening. A Pay Autention Sensory Experience Zone, created by Sensory All, a startup devoted to building inclusive sensory experiences, was set up at the location to enhance the experience. Visitors have a rare chance to interact with the world from a neurodiverse point of view thanks to the immersive environment.
In order to create inclusive spaces for neurodiverse and neurotypical people, educators, non-governmental organizations, caregivers, and policy stakeholders, Tata Power and Anupam Kher Studio have partnered to bring the Pay Autention Experience Zone and carefully curated screenings of “Tanvi The Great” to Jamshedpur.
The screening was attended by representatives from NIEPID RC Kolkata, South Kolkata Special School, Mentaid, Youth4Jobs, Tata Group –Tata Memorial Hospital, Indian Hotels, and Tata Steel.
Tata Power’s Pay Autention program, which emphasizes awareness, early diagnosis, caregiver assistance, inclusive education, skill development, and workplace integration, is in line with the screening’s continued commitment to social equality. The program has already changed thousands of lives, especially in underprivileged communities, with more than 500 partner organizations, 18,000 affected individuals and families, subject matter experts, and a carefully curated E-Sanidhya platform in collaboration with MSJE and Tata Elxsi.
The idea that storytelling can influence societal narratives and bring about long-lasting change is further supported by TPCDT’s backing of “Tanvi The Great” as part of its Pay Autention objective. A more inclusive future is made possible by this cultural turning point, which mainstreams neurodiversity.
