To honor the accomplishments and empowerment of women in a variety of fields, the Federation of Associations of Small Industries of India (FASII) arranged a special Women’s Day Celebration in Kolkata that brought together legislators, business executives, and entrepreneurs.

A National Seminar on “Women Entrepreneurs in Micro & Small Enterprises Sector – Opportunities & Challenges” and a felicitation ceremony honoring women who have achieved success in various professional fields were both part of the event. The program’s objectives were to draw attention to the expanding role of women in entrepreneurship and promote meaningful communication between female entrepreneurs and government representatives.

Every year on March 8, International Women’s Day is celebrated worldwide to honor the outstanding contributions made by women in a variety of fields, including entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, education, healthcare, economics, politics, engineering, space exploration, creative arts, and defense. The FASII event sought to honor these accomplishments while bringing attention to the necessity of women’s continued empowerment and equal opportunities. Ganesh Complex, Hindcon Chemicals, MSME Club, and Teamology provided support for this event.
