TV9 Network announced the debut of the AI² Awards 2026, a first-of-its-kind filmmaking effort honoring the nexus of Artificial Intelligence and Artistic Imagination in this era of technology and emotion coming together.

Students, independent artists, early-career professionals, and experimental storytellers are invited to participate in the AI² Awards to investigate how human creativity and AI may work together to produce daring, immersive, and unusual visual narratives. The program aims to find the next generation of creators reshaping storytelling through hybrid innovation, from animation and music videos to documentaries and branded material.

The democratization of storytelling is what makes this period genuinely historic. With AI-driven tools, a single creator may now create characters, animate settings, and arouse emotion without the need for massive crews or costly equipment. AI is now changing the way tales are conceived and presented, much as digital editing transformed film.

The AI² Awards 2026 invite creators from all backgrounds to highlight the future of narrative. Registration commenced on December 8, 2025, and run through January 31, 2026. A distinguished panel of filmmakers, technologists, and creative visionaries will rigorously review each submitted film. The jury round, a celebration of creativity, inventiveness, and the changing language of film, will be held in Mumbai in February 2026.

The winners will be revealed in March 2026 at the WITT-News9 Global Summit 2026 (India Edition) in New Delhi, when a group of international media and innovation leaders will see a selection of films. An exclusive panel discussion on the developing synergy between AI and creativity will also take place at the awards ceremony, marking a significant turning point for the future of cinematic expression.

The AI² Awards 2026 invite anybody who wants to establish the new cinematic language—one in which technology enhances rather than replaces the essence of storytelling—to apply as the lines between art and algorithms become increasingly hazy.
