Additionally, Airtel introduced a special recharge plan for Rs. 4000 with a one-year validity for the long-staying NRI community. For use overseas, the plan provides 5GB of data and 100 voice minutes; in India, users can use the same plan to receive 1.5GB of data per day and unlimited call benefits. Customers can use the same number while in India without having to perform a separate recharge, and the plan offers hassle-free connectivity anywhere in 189 countries.

• For frequent travellers, there is an auto-renewal feature. This will make travelling hassle-free and eliminate the need to purchase the pack more than once.

• These will be less expensive than the majority of local or in-country SIMs and will save travellers the trouble and cost of buying local SIM cards, giving them an easier way to stay connected.
• The customer will have complete control. With updates on usage, billing amount, and the ability to add data or minutes as needed, they will be able to manage all of their international roaming needs on the Airtel Thanks app.
