Amar Boss Team Revives Gandhabichar With A Special Recital

To add a touch of nostalgia to his latest film Aamar Boss, acclaimed filmmaker Shiboprosad Mukherjee led a heartfelt recital of Sukumar Ray’s timeless poem, Gandhabichar. The film’s ensemble cast, which included Mukherjee as the king, Souraseni Maitra as the minister, Aishwarya Sen as the clerk, and Kanchan Mallick as the old man, worked together on set to bring the classic verse to life. Their energetic performance not only elicited strong emotions but also brought back fond childhood memories, perfectly reflecting the film’s blend of corporate life and enduring human connections.
Shiboprosad Mukherjee said, “Gondho Bichar is one of Sukumar Ray’s ageless masterpieces, resonating with audiences even today. Because Aamar Boss takes place in a corporate setting where the boss is the king and the employees serve as his council, the poem’s theme fits perfectly with our story. Furthermore, the film makes several references to Sukumar Ray’s poetry, with Raakhee Di herself reciting his verses on screen. Inspired by this, our team decided to make this special moment a reality. I hope it entertains everyone as much as it did us”.
This nostalgic recital not only added depth to the film, but it also became a fond memory for the crew, seamlessly blending creativity, tradition, and a dash of childhood wonder. Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Aamar Boss promises a heartwarming journey full of laughter, love, and poetic charm.
