An Amazing Cancer Detection Program “End-O Check” Available Now

Apollo Cancer Centres (ACCs) introduced End-O Check, a comprehensive early detection program aimed at women 45 years of age and older, further solidifying its dedication to preventive oncology for women. The goal of the program is to identify endometrial and ovarian malignancies, two of the most common gynecologic cancers, early on so they may be treated.
Often referred to as the “silent killer”, ovarian cancer typically manifests at age 63 and affects women between the ages of 55 and 64. The five-year survival rate surpasses 90% when detected early.
In India, total cancer cases are expected to reach 1.57 million by 2025, with ovarian and uterine cancers remaining among the top five cancers affecting women. The age-standardized incidence rates for ovarian cancers are estimated to be 4.6 per 100,000 and 2.5 per 100,000 for corpus uterine cancers, respectively. Contributing factors include changes in reproductive patterns, urban lifestyles, and an increase in metabolic conditions, emphasizing the critical need for targeted detection in high-risk populations.
While endometrial cancer frequently causes symptoms such as unexpected bleeding or abnormal discharge, many women fail to report these symptoms early on, resulting in a delayed diagnosis and poorer results.
End-O Check is developed to prioritize early detection in high-risk groups, increase symptom awareness, and promote timely intervention, enabling women to take proactive measures for their gynecologic health. Radiology is essential in identifying gynecologic cancers early. Through End-O Check, transvaginal ultrasonography (TVS) is being incorporated as a diagnostic method to detect subtle changes that may signal early ovarian or endometrial cancers.
Early imaging allows healthcare providers to respond quickly, enhancing treatment possibilities and patient outcomes. This initiative aims to maintain ongoing awareness, motivate women to focus on their health, and guarantee fair access to dependable cancer detection tools. Detecting cancer early not only saves lives but also allows for less invasive and more effective treatments.
