An Amazing Premiere Of Horror Film Amish At SRFTI

It is difficult to find someone who does not like a good horror movie. You might be scared to watch it. But the charm is such that you cannot ignore it. Director Arunava Khasnobis’ latest film, Amish, is a wonderful offering in this much-loved genre.

The premiere of the film took place at SRFTI.

Eminent guests like Iman Chakraborty, Rudranil Ghosh, Ishan Mazumder, Rahul Banerjee, Satyam Bhattacharya, and others graced the event.

Rahul Banerjee said, “Gourab is like a brother to me. He has made Pretkotha into a popular name. I am so proud that he has ventured into film production. I was also in Arunava Khasnobis’s first film. So it is a happy reunion for me”.

The story is about a girl named Preeti who goes to a certain place. What experiences she has is what the film is all about.

The director said that the film has all the elements of horror. Light, camera framing, and other elements have been taken care of so that the audience feels scared while watching a horror film.

Pretkotha Originals has presented the film, and it has been produced by Gourab Tapadar.

“This is my first time that our own film has been screened at SRFTI. I am getting motivated, and I might next release a film for the big screen. Let’s see what happens. Despite making the film for YouTube, we have not compromised on the quality of the film,” said Gourab Tapadar.

Amish is written, directed, and edited by Arunava Khasnobis.

The DOP of the film is Subhadeep Naskar.

The background music has been composed by Nilanjan Ghosh.

The cast of the film consists of Preeti Sarkar, Monika Paul, Geeta Doshi, Priyanath Mukherjee, Pavi Roychoudhury, and Priyanka Tapadar.

Preeti Sarkar said, “I am very excited as I will be watching the film for the first time. I have been scared during the shoot, and I will be scared today as well. Gourab da called me one day and said that there was a project for me. So I said yes. It was when I went to the shoot that I understood the scale of the project”.

Iman Chakraborty, who came for the premiere, said she was afraid of ghosts. However, who can ignore the charm of watching a good ghost film and getting scared?
