Starmark, the leading bookshop chain, hosted a captivating storytelling event titled ‘GOPPO MIR-ER THEK’, in which Mir Afsar Ali, a renowned radio jockey, anchor, actor, and media personality, brought to life the timeless stories of legendary filmmaker and author Satyajit Ray.

Mir read some stories of Ray at the event and kept the audience engaged.

The event, held at South City Starmark, provided an enchanting evening of nostalgia, imagination, and creative brilliance.

The audience was taken on a mesmerising journey through Ray’s rich storytelling, brought to life by Mir’s signature wit and dramatic flair.

Mir also added that the next story in Goppo Mir-Er Thek will be Nikosh Chhaya. It will be available on the YouTube channel on Saturday (3rd May).

The evening successfully connected audiences of all ages to Satyajit Ray’s literary genius, as reimagined through the art of live storytelling.
