The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) organized several influential networking events in Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata as part of a strategic effort to increase tourist trade and strengthen relationships with one of its most important source markets. These well-known occasions provided a vibrant stage for showcasing Ajman’s reputation as a top tourism destination and encouraging closer collaboration with India’s travel and commerce sector.

Leading travel agents, tour operators, media professionals, and important industry players enthusiastically participated in the roadshows, which were hosted in three major cities on September 15, 17, and 19, 2025.

The delegation was led by H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, the Director General of ADTD, Mr Abdulaziz AlMahri, Director of Legal Affairs Office, Mr Abdalla Gohar, Project Management and Development Advisor, as well as Mr Amr Aly Morsy, Tourism Development and Marketing Expert at ADTD.

H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi said, “India has continued to be one of Ajman’s key source markets over the years, and Indian visitors have been crucial to the expansion of our tourism industry. Additionally, Indian tourists come to Ajman to enjoy its friendly locals, serene beaches, and rich cultural legacy, all of which are bolstered by convenient access from the main entry points into the United Arab Emirates. Through these roadshows, we were able to deepen our relationships with Indian travel partners, gain personal knowledge of their perspectives, and demonstrate how Ajman is changing to accommodate modern tourists. We are eager to welcome even more Indian tourists and make sure they enjoy everything our Emirate has to offer”.

Through captivating presentations, destination videos, and business-to-business exchanges, the roadshows helped Indian travel partners gain a deeper understanding of Ajman’s varied tourism offerings. Opportunities for direct cooperation, personalized trip planning, and future collaborations that complement leisure and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) travel sectors were also provided by the events.
