In the presence of singer Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury, actress Ananya Chatterjee, actor Santilal Mukherjee, and others, the Annapurna Sweet was launched.

This launch event took place at Brojonath’s.

Ananya Chatterjee plays the role of Annapurna in the film Annapurna. The journey of Annapurna and especially the journey of mothers will be shown in the film. Many mothers think that they do not have any work after their children become mature. However, they can do something with their lives even after that, and that is what is shown in the movie.

The film is directed by Anshuman Pratyush.

Santilal Mukherjee said, “When we grow up, we often become busy and often neglect the support and dedication of our parents. This is especially true for the mothers. The amount of effort and hard work that a mother puts in running a household and raising the children is indeed monumental. One must never forget that”.

The sweets will be available at all the outlets of Annapurna. Through a lucky draw, two winners will be chosen who will get premiere tickets for Annapurna.

The film is eyeing for release on the 18^th of April.
