Anushka Sharma’s glowing face coupled with subtle make-up, open tresses made many heads turn when the actress landed at Kolkata airport. The actress was in the city for her next venture as a producer.

Actor-turned-producer Anushka Sharma is all set to venture into the digital world and will be producing a Netflix venture titled ‘Bulbul.’ It will be co-produced by her brother Karnesh Sharma, for their home production company Clean State Films.

In Kolkata, the Pari actor joined her brother and their production team for the pre-production process. The film will be directed by Anvita Dutt. This is her first film as a director.

The film will star Parambrata Chatterjee and Paoli Dam in pivotal roles. Interestingly Parambrata had worked with Anushka in Pari. Rahul Bose will be seen in a pivotal role in the film.

This will be a period film and not all the characters in the film will be Bengali. The film will be shot at places like Haldia, Bawali Rajbari and so on.

The shooting of the film has already begun.

With Anushka backing up new directors with interesting projects, it will be interesting to see how this film shapes up finally.
