The trailer launch of the upcoming Bengali film Magic Pen was graced by the cast and crew of the film.

The story revolves around a girl and her mentally unstable mother. They are sheltered in the house of a landlord. Every morning, the girl’s dream is disturbed by a neighbourhood boy. One day, she starts chasing him. However, she is unable to catch him. She comes across a magic pen. Whatever the girl writes, it becomes true. She helps others with the magic pen but does not use it for her benefit. What happens next?

Directed by Arudipta Dasgupta, the film stars Noor Alam, Ananya, Arun Banerjee, Sanjib Sarkar, Manojit Bappa, Subrata Guha Roy, and others in important roles.

Noor Alam said, “There are a lot of emotions in the film. I enjoyed working on the film. I got the same amount of fun as I got while working on Sahaj Paather Gappo. The audience will be able to find traces of my character in Sahaj Paather Gappo in the role that I played in Magic Pen”.

The music has been composed by Amit Mitra and Amit Ghosh. The music arrangement is by Amit Ghosh.

The film is eyeing a release on the 15^th of August.
