With her most recent song, Ami Oporadhi, from the eagerly awaited Durgapur Junction movie, which is produced by Dreamliner Entertainment and directed by Arindam Bhattacharya, National Award-winning singer Iman Chakraborty is poised to enthral audiences once more. This moving ballad, written by the gifted trio Soum-Sree-Tiru, brilliantly conveys the film’s enigmatic core and deepens its compelling story.

Ami Oporadhi, written by lyricist Manidipa Singha, has eerie melodies and moving lyrics that complement the film’s tense theme. It promises to immerse listeners in the mysterious world of Durgapur Junction. Exclusive snippets from the movie will be featured alongside the song when it is officially released under the Zee Music banner on their official YouTube channel.

“Music is an important part of the film. The experience of singing Ami Oporadhi was intense and engrossing. The underlying mystery of Durgapur Junction is revealed by the song’s ballad style and its profound and eerie composition,” said singer Ms. Iman Chakraborty.

The story is inspired by an event in the USA in the eighties. Some people died in a city after consuming Vitamin tablets. No one could be caught. All the people who died had cyanide in their stomachs. The police, after searching for four to five months, could not find any great clue. When they think of closing the case, it is then that they find an important clue.

Not much changes have been done to the story. Only the backdrop of the story has been changed from the USA to Durgapur.

The simultaneous release of the song and movie snippets will give viewers a fascinating look into Durgapur Junction and set the stage for the exciting journey that the film will take them on. On April 25, 2025, Durgapur Junction will be released in West Bengal’s top single-screen and multiplex theaters.
