Bandhan Bank To Now Offer Shaurya Salary Account


Bandhan Bank declared that they and the Indian Air Force (IAF) had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer the Bandhan Bank Shaurya Salary Account, a corporate salary account specifically created for defence personnel. More than 1700 Bandhan Bank branches offer IAF personnel many special benefits, including a Zero Balance savings account, family and personal protection, and competitive interest rates. Along with the Bank’s partnership with the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) to create SPARSH Service Centres for offering services to Defence pensioners and their families through 557 designated branches, the Bank also collaborated with the IAF on the Shaurya Salary Account.
The MoU was signed by Air Vice Marshal Updesh Sharma VSM, Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Accounts & Air Veterans), Ministry of Defence and Debraj Saha, Head – Government Business Group, Bandhan Bank in the presence of Mr. Sujoy Roy, Head – Branch Banking, Bandhan Bank, Ms Swati Dutt, Head- Central Government Business, Bandhan Bankalong with other officials from IAF and Bandhan Bank.
Bandhan Bank has established long-lasting alliances with important institutions. In order to collect taxes and pay out Central Civil Pensions and Railway Pensions, among other benefits, the Central Boards of Direct Taxes and Indirect Taxes have authorised the bank. The Reserve Bank of India has designated Bandhan Bank as an Agency Bank.
With this MoU, the bank has yet again added another feather to its cap of achievements.
