The BDMI Alumni Association organized a genuinely remarkable “Rewind 2025” reunion, which was a lively and unforgettable program that brought together alumni, faculty, and distinguished guests for an evening of celebration, nostalgia, and camaraderie. Time stopped, and memories came flooding back. A wide variety of live performances and moving tributes were featured at the event, which took place on March 30, 2025.

The atmosphere erupted with excitement as soon as Konal Kar, the Master of Ceremonies, greeted everyone with warmth. A journey down memory lane was made possible by the “Rewind 2025” theme, which was illuminated by the customary lamp-lighting ceremony. It served as a symbolic beacon of knowledge and shared history, banishing darkness and bringing in positivity and knowledge.

The audience was treated to a performance by Ganesh Vandana, which symbolised good beginnings. The principal’s video message, which reflected on the institution’s accomplishments and journey, was then shown. After the association honoured its esteemed guests, the guests gave enlightening speeches that struck a chord with their collective wisdom and life experiences. A vibrant group dance performance during the evening’s cultural portion demonstrated the alumni’s talent and spirit. In honour of the late Shrimati Usha Mehta, the founding principal of BDMI, a moving audio and video tribute was given, recognising her important contributions. A group singing performance evoked feelings as melodies filled the hall. The accomplishments and activities of the BDMI Alumni Association (BDMIAA) were showcased in an audio-visual presentation, which also demonstrated the organization’s continuous efforts to build relationships and assist the school.

The association’s elected president, Subhomoy Samanta, inspired everyone with his speech and sparked a feeling of unity. After Utsav Singh lit up the stage with a vibrant dance performance, the alumni’s style and inventiveness were on full display in a glitzy fashion show featuring sarees draped across various eras. The purpose of the evening was to foster connections rather than merely enjoy performances. The event became a genuine celebration of community as a result of the interactive games and sessions that generated laughter and strengthened relationships. Everyone was moved by the incredible performance by the iconic band Cactus, which brought back happy memories of their adolescent years.

“Rewind 2025” was more than just a reunion. It was a celebration of their common history, a monument to the enduring spirit of BDMI, and a potent reminder of the ties that bind them all together.
