Chamak Dhamak Fashion & Lifestyle Exhibition- A Great Success

The Chamak Dhamak Fashion & Lifestyle Exhibition Kolkata Edition, a two-day luxury trunk show held at ITC Royal Bengal, was a glittering celebration of history and haute couture in the city of Kolkata.

The event, which took place on July 26 and 27, brought together the most coveted designers and lifestyle curators in India in one opulent location.
The event was graced by Shri Kalyan Banerjee, Member of Parliament, Serampore (Lok Sabha Constituency), Kolkata’s top fashionistas, socialites, and influencers like Uzma Firoz, Naheed Begum, actress Sayantani Guha Thakurta, and many more.

Beyond its glamorous exterior, however, the exhibition’s underlying goal was to bring back India’s renowned handicrafts, artisanal tradition, and craftsmanship—all of which are disappearing in the age of rapid fashion.
The exhibition showcased superior Indian weaves, elaborate needlework, and classic silhouettes in a carefully chosen assortment of exclusive ensembles that emphasized both innovation and heritage.

Each booth and exhibit paid homage to India’s rich fashion heritage. With their distinctive and exquisite offerings, more than 60 designer and lifestyle stalls were erected, each of which highlighted India’s rich fashion heritage.

The event was organized by Mrs. Arti Modi and Mr. Sumit Banka in association with Green Entertainment, the official event partner.

The festival-like atmosphere, along with live style sessions, opulent lounge areas, and glamorous picture booths that enhanced the guest experience, was what set this edition apart.
With exclusive collections from some of the largest brands and names in Indian fashion, the exhibition showcased carefully chosen designer curation.
The Kolkata edition was more than just an exhibition; it developed into a gathering place for designers, consumers, and artists who shared a passion for conscious fashion, culture, and couture.
